David "Dudu" Fisher's "concert" was wad i went for earlier on...at the City Harvest Church...quotin from the pamphlet i received, David "Dudu" Fisher hails from Israel & is 1 of the world's leadin cantors. His wide vocal range has taken him to Broadway and the West End as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables , to the screen as the voice of Moses in Steven Spielberg's Hebrew version of The Prince of Egypt & into concert halls wif The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Mr. Fisher's superb voice has brot him international recognition & he has performed b4 dignitaries sucha ex-President Bill Clinton & his wife, Hillary Clinton, Queen Elizabeth II, the British royal family & the Thai royal family.

My sister asked if i was interested in attendin this event cos i had attended the musical Les Misérables & had enjoyed it...moreover it's kinda once in a lifetime thing & it was free~!!! held at her church...yeah -sighz- she's in CHC...at first i was kinda reluctant to go...cos it started at 8pm & i haf yet to start on my tutorial...sux...but it was difficult to resist the temptation lahz...so i decided to go...attire was smart casual...so i gotta prepare for qt some time...hate dressin up...

anewaez i started preparin at 4.30pm...in order to leave at 5.30pm for din b4 reachin CHC at 7.15pm...dressed up in norm top & pants but i brot along a jacket which i lurve a lot but not reallie ok for norm use so it's kinda da the first time i'm usin it...v nice...hehe...den i went wif sis to Yoshinoya...again...to eat din...den i went to buy sweets...YuMmY~ hehe...bot 2 kinds again...nice...den we set off...train ride was not bad...managed to get seats...soon we reached the place...it was super crowded & i saw some1 who act wore a gown~!!! haha or somethin which looked so...

den since we din haf tix yet we went to the washroom...man...it was CROWDED~!!! queued up for some time den still had to queue near the lift...if u din noe it yet...the auditorium was in the basement B4...cos the doors weren't opened as yet...but my sis had tod mi dat doors opened at 7.15pm...so i was kinda pissed at the organisation...den we took the stairs down...it was terrible...due to the crowd it was WARM & i juz cud not kip up wif my sis cos either pple r goot at squeezin or i was lousy...had to kip givin way to others...

when we finally got to the audi the air con felt heavenly...the poor guy takin the tix looked miserable...he looked as if he was being squashed outa his position at the entrance & desperately tryin to collect the tix form the crowd...lol...we got in & searched for seats...it sure looked bad for us...everywhere was taken up...walked ard for some time yet cud not secure seats at all...partly cos many seats were reserved...after a long time of walkin aimlessly sis saed dat they pple were gonna add chairs to the last row's aisle so we stationed there...waitin...

den...YAY~!!! we got our seats~!!! sat down happily while there was a group of girls on our left who were reservin a lot of seats...den their frens came & squeezed mi outa my seat...well...half out...till tink the whole row of us had to share seats...kinda lyke sittin on a bench...was sittin there waitin for the show to start den i happened to look at the girls...cos i thot a girl looked pretty hehe =x den EH~!!! she looks familiar...i gaf dat "u look familiar but i dunno how i noe u" look den she spoke first...she was blur at first den saed "u were from NYJC rite?" den i OH "Melissa rite~!!!" haha...yupz i'm rite...but she forgot my name~!!! lol...nvm...she recognises my face...i din even noe how i knew her...

yay...dudu fisher was good~ his entrance song was sooo nice...he did some songs which i din understand...guess they were in israeli...den some in hebrew...i was tryin my best to hear the words & look at his expression as well as listen to the live band all at the same time...of cos had to look at his face via the hugr screen...i kinda got pissed by those who clapped along wif the beat cos i was tryin to hear the songs properly & din lyke them spoilin them...reallie wanted to appreciate some good music...to see the way he sang...

den he tod his story of how he got into Broadway...he had attended Les Misérables & was determined to join Broadway as Jean Valjean & he tod them abt him bein a Jew & he cant work on Sabbath day...eventually he got the role 2 yrs later lolz~!...den he also saed dat the song "Bring Him Home" held a special meanin for him...cos his dad had bin sent to war wif onli a gun wif 10 bullets inside & den his 2 sons as well...he alwiz prayed for them...haiz...when he sang "Bring Him Home" he was so emotional dat i tink he cried...the song was v sad & i cud not control myself either...

he sang more songs den ended ard 10pm cos he had a plane to catch to ermmm Australia i tink for a performance...it was good tho...the South African Ambassodor as well as Israeli Ambassodor were there...i heard later on dat pierre png & andrea de cruz were there as well...it was fun~!!! he's a reallie chirpy old man...oh! the onli part i din qt lyke was the part where he asked He Yao Shan to sing a duet wif him...yucks...reallie spoiler manz...hehe can tell dat i dislyke her...well...now it's gettin late & i haven even started on my tutorial~!!! real tired too~ nice dae tho...nite rather...
