Frustrations

I think I store the little frustrations I have in me. Usually when things happen, I just smile & move on. But come to think of it, I'm just avoiding the problem.

Then when they overflow in me, it's really horrible. I feel like . I can't even describe it. Wanted to say as if my parents have just died. But no, it's worse than that. It's like I'm angry, sad & tired all at the same time.

I want to die, disappear from here, cry myself dry, pull out all my hair & kill someone all at once. I don't know if this is an indication of my insanity. I ask God why He does this to me.. maybe to test my patience? I don't know if I can take it.

Weird thing is, after crying like mad (it is really very bad I can't even describe it again), I actually feel better. Ready to challenge the world again. Gauge is reset back to 0. The cycle restarts.

Pretending that I'm fine.

Some updates:
Completed my 1st year of work come Fri.
Passed my final theory exam on the Sat that just passed.

I'm unofficially effectively unhappily working 24/7 via phone calls.
I'm kind of confused as to the path to take from this junction.

Looking for alternatives & opportunities.

Honey's Teacher Aunt & Lawyer Uncle decided to practice driving balls at the Orchid Country Club and invited me along yesterday (Good Friday)!

It was fun! First time handling a golf club, the position was odd at first, & my swings kept missing. haha, but being a fast learner, I soon hit the balls, though not very nicely of course. I was rather pleased with a shot that took the ball to about 75m (or is it in yards?)

There were many pros there! we were admiring others' swings & beautiful shots, accompanied by the nice 'PAK!' sound heh. Hope we will have more chances to play in future.

Had my first visit to the Dermatologist on 28 Feb with JY. Technically it's my second. The first time was on a Sat. We arrived at the clinic 5mins late and all the numbers had been distributed, meaning we had made a wasted trip!

Anyhows, at my first successful visit, Dr Ong prescribed me the following (in order to apply on face):
1. Citrus Cleansing Lotion
2. Aroma Acne Clear Gel (to cure & prevent future breakouts)
3. Skin Repair Cream Moisturiser
4. Stieva-A 0.01% (to decrease oil glands size)
5. Anti-itch Oatmeal Moisturising Cream (to moisturise my legs for further treatment)

These gave me pimples and was totally yucky.

Upon my second visit on 20 Mar, Dr Ong decided to increase the power of (4). And my legs didn't look so dry anymore, can start lightening the scars! I was thus given:

1. Glycolic Gel 10% (to rid dead cells that clog pores, smoothens skin!)
2. L-Ascorbic Acid Brightening Cream (to lighten scars?)
3. Stieva-A 0.025%
4. Fading Cream (lightens scars for legs)

Hope things will start to improve!

JY's back.
How I miss her. love chatting for hours with her & getting advice on girly stuff haha. managed to psycho her & PL to join me for windsurfing on Sunday.

Not that they surfed. The wind was offshore, was warned on self-rescue & the proper hand signal for getting help.

Indeed, I sailed far out easily. Tried so hard to do a 180º but couldn't beat the wind. A guy came along & got me to do self-rescue. Eventually with his tips, I managed to sail back.

I got injured that day! It was a good workout tho, got my lazy muscles to work, & a nice muscleache the next day. Coupled with a flu. Anyways, let's have a look at the pix:

This isn't very flattering cos I was panting! the waves were choppy, had to drag the heavy board & sail up the shore u know!

it was a simple yet enjoyable day! Thanks to Honey.
we both took the day off, was well rested before we set off.

was welcomed with a nice bouquet of flowers! tho I'm not a fan of roses, it was sweet! must have been ex hehe. check it out:

I have only 1 word: yucks.

Took a neo-print with Honey, our very first. It was qt noob cos while we were decorating, I pressed the wrong button! and screwed it up, wasted 100s of decorating haha.

Nevertheless, it was nice. Check it out on my msn!

Dinner was at Chicago Steakhouse, which was great except it was crowded, probably cos they didn't jack up the price.

today i went for my company's D&D (my very First!), or rather my "department's" D&D. It was at the Raffles City Convention Centre. After writing off billions, gotta find a budget place haha. but the ambiance & food wasn't that bad..

didn't manage to win anything in the lucky draw. the prizes were interesting tho! there was a Nikon camera, Nintendo DS, Wii & PSP, and others. owell. gotta wait for next yr's chance heh.

Anyways, the theme was 70's. the dressing of some was fun, we had Austin Powers, Elvis Presley, some hippie guy, not bad except i wondered how they traveled looking so strange. The music was good, the kind like Electric Dreams, Love in the First Degree, and even FootLoose!

reminds me of the lovely times in Engin Camp! i can still remember the dance steps haha. nostalgia.. seriously in need of a session with the Super Siao Onz pple man! i'm ageing prematurely!

Happy New Year to all!

No half day for me today sobs. Especially for a feverish me. I saw the next door HR completely dark when I left, and so was the other visible office. Hah nvm I got thru it fine. Not much excitement for the new year tho.

Was packing my room on Fri, came across many soft toys so decided to donate these to the poor kids out there.

So I'm calling to everyone who wanna get rid of your stuff for the new year, don't just throw everything away!

Stop to tink that some things are actually not junk! They may very well make a kid's day~

I'm going to contact the Salvation Army to see how to pass them the stuff. If you wish to donate, can drop me an email at airefana@gmail.com, we can work out something for the less fortunate!

Finally time for updates!

Nothing spectacular, just that I tried Soup Restaurant food finally! Courtesy of my boss Sok-Kim. She gave 10 of us a treat, I suppose it's for Christmas and her holiday coming up, so feeling happie haha. She's off on a 2-week holiday. At least less stress for us XD

The Hari Raya holiday was spent shopping, tried on a few dresses but fussy me din manage to get anything. So many things to do, so little time & money. I still need to cut hair, go for dental appointment, go for facial etc. Many thanks to Honey who got the Handbell music I like all the way from America!

Christmas parties held, one at Sis' place, with yummy green curry-mussels, famous sausages from Swiss Butchery @ Greenwood Ave, Lana Chocolate Fudge-y cake also @ Greenwood Ave. The most chocolatey one was a chocolate bomb, yummy warm choc fudge that flows. something like this:

Another one was prepared by Honey's cousin, over at Serangoon Goldenhill Condo. I was stuffed so din have much. But it was fun tho, Honey's teacher-aunt & doctor-wannabe-cousin were entertaining.

time for an update.. since I have some time while waiting for my hair to dry..

went to an Orientation session on 27th ~~Dec~~ Nov at Marina Mandarin Hotel. Wah it was a session of brainwashing. I heard about how big & powerful we are, how we always manage to tide over crises & become even more powerful after that.

I was 30% clean after that, since I thot it was kinda inspirational (SOME only). Heard about pple who switched from IT to many other diff genres, becoming more & more successful. That's probably the most memorable thing (Or the most enjoyable sentence =D) I rem.

29th ~~Dec~~ Nov was my Dental Appointment, the 2 jabs didn't hurt as much as they did in Pri sch haha. I was glad. thank God. Despite the jabs, I felt strong vibrations & stuff (nerve pulp) being sucked out. the 'perverted' me felt shiok about that somehow. XD .....It cost me close to SGD200, sadly, I can only claim half of that amount. But it's good enough.

working is unhealthy. I realise I spend more than half of my day at office! a quarter sleeping. the other quarter for miscellaneous. that's it. how no life is that sobs..

I found my knees kinda hurting already. Sitting at the computer all day is sure unhealthy. I shall go to bed soon..

yday received some shocking news, which made me reflect on life a little..

bro: *1 of his fren's name* just passed away.
sf : HUH? dun bluff lah..
bro: really! *another guy's name* called me this mornin to tell me, he died in his sleep, heart attack.
sf : omg.. *tears welled up*

a kid who's so young, just hit his 21, without any warning, could just die like that. i really couldn't imagine that happenin to me. despite not knowing this boy personally, i've heard a few stories about him from my bro, sounded qt a cheerful & happy boy, alwiz joking & bringing laughter to his frens.. i can't imagine not hearin abt him anymore.

some discussion with my bro:
-> is it better to die suddenly without any prior suffering or to enjoy life then just go?

i dunno, going without any pain sounds better for a scaredy person like me, imagine someone scared of injections.. but it doesn't seem fair to loved ones that they don't get the chance to say their last goodbyes. that leads us to the thing about living life to the fullest, each & every day. to treasure loved ones, before it is too late.

if i am know that i'm gonna die tmr, i will tell every of my loved ones that i love them. why do we alwiz withhold our true feelings? sometimes i tink i may enjoy it more if i was born a westerner, more open with feelings.. i haven told my parents that i love them recently, or hugged them at all. it just seems so strange right, doin that out of the blue.

sigh.. dunno what's his religion but i hope his soul is at peace now. glad that he left peacefully..

long time since i wrote crap here! not reallie say busy but there's other stuff haha. work is still the same, kinda invisible there.. not dat i mind it right now. got lots to learn.. will be attendin more trainings, Oracle Performance Tuning, J2EE & some BEA Weblogic. think the former 2 would be useful, hope i can pick up as much as i can!

took the Mon off cos of workin on some weekends. Sunday did some kinda drill which failed thanks to the PRO Network guys who din swing the network properly. yays gotta work on the comin Sunday again.

at least i went out on Sat, met up wif the usual cheerleadin peepz-Wh, Kat & KT. din manage to exercise partly due to the rain. shopped a bit & had Chicago Steak, not too bad.

Mon played badminton(fortunately SOME exercise), today i got muscle ache! nice man, long time since my butt ached haha =X due to running around the tiny court. caught Resident Evil & felt sick after it cos qt bloody & disgusting. i keep seeing it like a game & i felt the final boss was damn cheap. cheap thrill man.

i've alwiz wanted a PSP.. we all haf Wants.. but since it's not a necessity & i'm so deeply in debt, i was reluctant to purchase 1.. alwiz wished dat i could pick 1 up from the streets. pple alwiz say fat hope. now i've reallie found one..

after signing a contract to sell my soul to this company.. i was instructed to go back to work on sat.. both as an office attendant & to finish up some buttons required for our web. so i caught a cab to work. got into the cab & wanted to place my laptop on my right..WAH! a CHIO black PSP!

instinctively i handed it to the driver. tho in dat split second i considered taking it. omg i so wanted it! but somehow, i didn't! but it's good lah.. it's no good coveting someone else's things. i also understood how it feels to lose somethin.

obviously i was still upset dat i STILL don't haf a PSP lol. upon reachin the office i did a couple of things.

1. change my pick up point add cos there was some confusion
2. inform Comfort customer service dat i found a PSP & handed it to the driver. (so that he won't take it home to his kid haha)
3. (din do in the end, thot i'd gif him a chance) inform Comfort customer service dat the driver was a reckless & dangerous driver! he wove from lane to lane tho it was obvious it's a tight fit!

I guess i was well rewarded by God. at 10+am i got a call. i could go back home oreadie, the vendors weren't goin to work till maybe night. & i wasn't expected to stay overnight with them. so dat saved me 7hours of stayin there (cos i left at 12, was supposed to work from 9-7).

wanna tok abt shitty food we're getting in Singapore nowadays. paying so much for bad-quality food pisses me off. esp i'm sucha gourmet. simply can't tolerate the crap they try to cheat me wif! so here's a few warnings so u know where to AVOID.

1. Duck Rice opp Sim Lim Square - Near the Bugis whatever Temple there

oh yeah, gimme all the ribs and skin! finish off wif plenty of braised duck sauce! $3 easily cheated! i juz wanna say i am NEVER gonna eat there ever again. the amt of duck i consumed was so miserable! is reallie like the saying goes, not even enuff to stuff the space between my teeth! XD

2. Disgusting Stingray @ Chong Pang - Opposite the Air Base

Had the stingray wif belachan on banana leaf (suddenlie forgot how to describe this properly), the stir-fried mussels etc. The stingray had a PUNGENT taste! omg like ammonia! Sick, more at the edges. got a new piece from the stall & fortunately it was better. the mussels din taste v fresh either.

after some research from googling, din manage to find concrete info. some say it's intrinsic to stingray, others due to the fish being stale oreadie.. anyhow, i'm so gonna haf a phobia of dat stall.. seafood can NEVER be sold in this kinda condition lor. total injustice to the wonderful animal! that God gave to us.

got so much to say dat i can't even rem everything!

went to NDC on thurs, treatment for my tooth should begin end-Nov, but i'm scared oreadie, each time i haf an appointment nearing.. freak. nvm it's still a good 2 months b4 i worry! anyways, did X-Ray & found dat i haf 3 wisdom teeth! 2 of which are either not fully grown (no roots) or are horizontal. 1 is still below the gum. so unless this 1 pops out, i'm safe! woohoo~

today met up wif Sha.. went to Sushi Tei (my first time) & realised the food there so-so onli.. biased cos of price also haha. the dessert was a total disappointment. juz LUP 1 scoop of ice cream and datz it. we ordered 'Strawberry Ice Cream' and it's juz frozen strawberrys.. duh as if i cannot buy from mos burger. but interestin lah.. tink first time tryin black caviar.

talked alot.. finally some quality chat after years! hmmm but dun tink it's enuff.. prob gotta see her more often.. reallie miss every1.. esp on thurs din get to see Lu cos she was in a meeting when i finish my dental checkup at NDC. also got 3 sms from JingYing, love hearin from secondary sch good frens!

lastly, went to Sim Lim Square & finally learnt a bit abt choosing components haha. gettin stuff to make a remote-controlled boat or car i noe! but not a PC haha... interestin, but feel the pain when $ gone in a matter of hours!

phew~ it had been busy weeks! testing cycle 2 currently goin on, the external testers haf been comin earlie in the mornin at 7am to do testing so me & my colleagues gotta take turns to arrive at 7am to open the door for them! *haf i mentioned this b4? i seriously can't rem!*

fortunately sis mentioned to check if it's ok to take cab, checked & found dat i can, indeed, take cab! tho i could tell it was rather reluctantly.

got my namecard 2 days ago! see it below! ermm the blotches are horribly mosaiced by Paint so don't mind those haha.. for protection of my wonderful company XD

meanwhile, i've got some some mini tests by my manager! gotta fully understand the architecture of the software currently bein developed. some of the interfaces etc.

sian.. gotta reach office earlier for 4 days, 2x next week & 2x the week after. reachin office at 7am means i gotta wakey at 5.30am latest! it's crazy.. juz to be an office attendant, to open the door for the pple doin testin on our system.. well at least it's juz 4 days, cos there's 3 of us to share the 12 days lol.

today attended a conference call wif New York & tmr (Fri) gotta join the netmeeting again at 8pm GMT+8! dat means the earliest i can knock off is like 9pm haha, considerin how much they can talk. i'm tinkin more of the bills tho, imagine long distance calls everyday by so many employees!

owell, fortunately it's Fri.. not too bad huh, heard dat yday 2 of the guys worked till mornin & left the office at abt 8+am. so they din come in today. but i'm wonderin if there's reallie a need. Afterall, life is not juz work. we gotta HAVE a life. & we all need rest. i reallie dun tink dat's the way to treat our body. i'll see how it goes then. can't wait to go for my next course> J2EE muahahaha.

the whole of this week was spent at Oracle university for PL/SQL training. goin to 'work' at Suntec was fun despite the long walk from City Hall MRT Station. Food is more ex compared to that at Tampines haha. i learnt a lot & was rather happy cos my instructor qt interesting AND i got to go home on time! if not earlier hah. oh anyways here's a photo of my cert:

on the other hand, my tooth givin me bad news: SPECIALIST. *damnit* my tooth is still 'tender' even after cleanin out the nerve pulp in the main root canal, which could point to a lateral/forked canal. and dat would require better equipment & microscopes to complete the treatment.

so i shall visit the polyclinic next week to obtain a referral letter! then pray dat the fee would be cheaper. the neighbourhood dentist uncle is rather nice, alwiz explainin to me wad i din understand. bein extra careful when i made the slightest sound due to pain. he even refunded 50% of the fee! v nice guy..

oh i could tell he was upset dat he could not complete my treatment successfully haha cos he sounded disappointed & regretful. oh well, too bad. both of us got a bad deal, worse for me!

weekend is coming~

been a high-paid data entry clerk for the past 2 days.

today had a session on understandin 1 of our system over long-distance conference call & netmeeting. (to Hong Kong)

it was fun, & impressed by how fluent my instructor's english was. & heard many pple speakin in the background in cantonese hah.

NetMeeting is a damn powerful tool, allowin users to share screen & even control, transfer files.

i played ard a bit on whiteboard wif my colleagues =X.

finally got my security card today! we were so happie & excited! oh they sorta dirtied my photo-idiots!

but we were so glad that we spent some time in the pantry havin coffee & chattin a little.

(prior to the cards we were trapped in our tiny corner, cant go in/out of office easily)

today was a bad day! freak. went to dental appointment & informed the dentist dat my tooth hurts when i floss. he knocked qt hard on it (OUCH).

den he started to screw the pin in again, to clean the nerves. OUCH! *shudder* turns out the nerve wasn't clean thoroughly enuff. so he stuck the pin in deeper. i kept whimpering so he suggested injection. haha that's a big NO for me. phobia since the pri sch days! so i tried to tahan it.

amazing how the magical jab caused the pain to reduce in magnitude! after diggin a few times, finally completed the cleanin. but till now it still kinda hurts when i bite or lightly tap it. sobs i sure hope it's cos the disinfectant is doin its job. else he said will hafta refer to specialist. yay that would be so cheap. not to mention the fear.

~42nd National Day~

National Day! 42nd one. saw many pple dressed in red yday at Tampines Interchange when we went for lunch & recalled the days in St.Nicks when we gotta wear red &/or white haha. we used to sing the Kit Chan - Home song.

it now serves as a good break in the Looong week. that's all. no feelings whatsoever. it's sad, but it's linked to many events. not that i don't appreciate SG.

i mean, it's a great place to live in, good security, unlike in the States where any1 can grab a gun & shoot whoever he's 'buey song' with. the weather, tho a bit humid & lackin in the snow area, is good for me cos not too cold & there's alwiz the air con. frens & family here, as well as my memories.

anyways, today was spent sortin out my bills & plannin my expenses. so poor omg my pay sux. spent qt a bit today tho.

went AMK Hub wif mum & first tried on ALOT shirts & pants. wrong size, colour, design. finally grabbed a top wif a nice sharp collar. next, 2 pairs of low heels so i dun feel tired standin on the bus & can wear when i go out! then, a pair of pants! qt comfy den lastly, another watch! qt glad wif these. Total expenditure for today: $85.70 yeah that's qt a lot for me! but gotta spend a little on work bah.

damnit! i swear i will nv ever take 39 home from Tampines after work again! it's crazy lah, tried it cos 969 was SUPER long queue, till the next berth. 39 went a BIG round to Pasir Ris & stopped at EVERY bus stop. it took me 1hr to reach Khatib *faints* the only good thing is plenty of seats after the Pasir Ris stops but no point lah.

wah lao i hate some pple who act pia when they're actually so slack lor. piss me off (coz i'm slack). when he volunteered to collate the bugs found by 3 of us to send to supervisor i was sian oreadie. scared that he will like delete our records if we haf the same ones. (i would haf balanced it a little XD)

summore he came to look at MY log sheet & STOLE 1 of my reported bugs haha. he was also so slow lah! last min try to add new stuff when it's time to send it out. stupid piece of crap. !@#$% so today i told him i'll send it out SINCE i've COMPLETED my list for today.

Get-Together Buffet & Bowling Session
went to Raffles Town Club for this outing organised for CMB-IT department. got to noe a couple more pple & i finally got another chance to speak to the Director (Head of our O&T dept), who's a Honky cos i recognise his accent haha so cute! it so happened that i was in the same lane as him so asked him abt the LASIK op he went for (as a topic & since i'm also interested to find out more)

din talk much tho cos he was busy bowling & he seems qt good at it! 5 or more strikes & some spares! his wife & teenage daughter was there as well & seems his daughter inherited his talent in bowling! hope i will haf more chances to chat wif him haha- i like HK!

anyways, the food was not bad, some of what i found nice was macaroni & blackforest cake not too bad, din get to eat most of the puffs tho sad haha. Left after watchin 1 game cos qt tireds.

3rd day of work. after 2.5 days of mugging we finally got our PCs.. the RAM, at 2GB is good for a gaming machine & the Hard Disk 140GB i tink, seems a little huge for CODES haha. i could find a better usage for this storage! >.<

anyways, this machine blocks any web-based emails & msn so i'm basically stuck on my little island! which is good cos wif MSN there's surely lots of distractions!

besides the PC, we also got our key to a cupboard as well as a set of drawers, which is convenient for storing my stuff. obtained our personal line & managed to change the voicemail PIN so i feel good enuff to spend some extra time in my own personal comfy space! gotta deco it up a bit tho.

started to check out some of the apps currently under testing, not sure to hope that i find bugs or not lol.

cos if i find bugs => i'm good at testing! i can steer towards doing more testing! which means less development haha

but that means our product is still far from perfection! which is bad as a whole!

today was first day at work. i realised 1 of my VIP mates at I2R from NUS EE has become my colleague! interesting fact, other interesting colleagues include a guy who has worked for 6+yrs oreadie.. & a senior whom i was in the same "tutorial group" for Computer Vision module as.

it was boring (as usual for any1's first day) wif intro's & orientation to pantry & washrooms, den began on a brief intro to the 2 main projs we're currently workin on. it was too much to digest! all the acronymns made me see stars but will slowly & surely pick up!

1 thing i gotta say is, the pantry is a joke. a microwave oven & a vending machine (which each cup is at 10c but that's not the point the collected amt will be donated to charity so that's ok).. i've heard from Weihao that his Scottish bank has biscuits & i forgot wad in abundance!

not to mention that the pple there are known to work long hours into the night like 10pm. how can there be nothin to munchie on! ok guess i shud not complain at this chance to lose some of those extra flabs. so training's till like mid-Sept & hope i get to start on SOMETHING cos it gets kinda sian when u gotta stay (after workin hours) & slack!

today went back NUS to collect my degree cert. was queuing for the bus when 2 girls came to ask if i'm a freshie HA! do i look so young like a 19-yr-old? muahaha.. i must! to be asked twice. anyways that brought me to 4 yrs ago, when some1 told me abt dunno wad (LOL! i cant even rem, should be some society)

den saw many pple at LT7A and Sci Foyer. and some maze thingy on the soccer field created by hundreds of cardboard boxes. recalled the days when i was involved in the Sports Camp & CPE orientation! Engin Freshmen Orientation Projects including the camp, orientation week as well as Rag Day! (Rag Dance & the float & costumes).. later on i joined cheerleading as well..

Most of the fond memories contained the non-academic portion of course.. but i will alwiz rem the first yr, it was fun! our fave LT7A area.. it got kinda sian as we progressed so i shall push the rest to the back of my mind.

All in all, i experienced a weird feelin.. happy to graduate yet feel like i've lost somethin! hope i can go for MBA next time.. i wanna learn more abt management. anyways if i do take that, i'll be seeing NUS again tho the feelin will be TOTALLY diff!

finally decided to visit the dentist at Khatib since the 1 nearer home was so packed. i thot it'd be good to settle my dental prob b4 i began workin.. lucky i decided to! was apprehensive as i waited for my turn, i was alwiz afraid of dentists.

told him of my prob, and he knocked on the problematic tooth and its 2 neighbours. OW it HURT, and i've taken so much care not to use THAT tooth! he juz knocked on it wif his mirror (dental mirror of cos!).. forgot wad else he said but he told me that the nerve was infected, so the only way was root canal treatment. ermm wait. it all hit me so suddenlie.

wad the hell had happened that warranted such a yucky treatment? i had read abt this treatment from websites when surfin for info on wisdom teeth and it sounded scary. i had a large filling done some time ago and i suppose it muz haf been HUGE cos it was near the nerves and so the tissues got infected!

crap. i asked in greater detail of the steps involved:
1. DRILLING of the tooth to reach the dying nerve tissues (OMG the word DRILL sounds bad)
2. cleaning of the root
3. filling it up

consequence:
1. the tooth becomes more brittle, easier to fracture & so can't be used to bite harder stuff
2. due to lack of nutrients (transported via the tissues which are gone), tooth becomes darker coloured
3. i've got a dead tooth!

sobs.. i asked if it hurts badly and was reassured that it doesn't and is a commonly done treatment. i was hesitant abt it but the dentist decided to proceed wif the treatment and since i had to do it unless i wanna extract it, i decided to go all out & braced myself for the pain! 3 more sessions! hope everythin will be fine after this.

feelin bored so these 2 days started surfin blogs & loggin into friendster & multiply wahaha. so funny that pple login frequently..

still waitin to start work & bored of my RO long ago. i realise i miss many of my frens.. so long since i met them! reallie takes effort to maintain frens.. gotta take initiative to sms, call, email & stuff! but when pple start workin, they get tired & can only meet up on weekends!

abel called me yday to join he and his fren's frens in a Paintball shootout. i din noe it's so ex.. maybe if i went wif MY frens instead it would be a diff case haha.

anyways, he commented that i sound the same. i thot i had changed so much since we got to know each other 3 yrs ago! wah 3 yrs ago i was 20! still very much childish & carefree, like nothin in the world could make me sad. now i'm so much more mature! and grown up, ready to step into the society to WORK! for the rest of my life haha.

lookin back tho, i muz say i reallie enjoyed myself durin the Compagnia days.. hmmm actually also the rag dance practices & cheerleading! so nice to be wif good frens without havin to wurry that pple are plottin against u huh. hope i wun hafta wurry excessively after i start work.

i've got toothache! damn. i sure hope it's not the dreaded wisdom teeth! it began on sat, the btm left molars were a bit irritated.. some sorta teeny bit pain+itch haha it's tough to describe! if u've experienced this b4 u'll noe it straightaway. soon i felt PAIN on the tooth just beside my front teeth! upper of cos, on the left side..

the pain comes in SINE signals. sometimes no pain at all ( =D ) and sometimes qt pain tho i wun call it excruciating (oops is that how u spell it?).. had a little trouble enjoyin my food.. maybe it's a signal from God to stop EATING LIKE A PIG!

i panicked and bought Oral B mouthwash, there's a good offer at NTUC, the 750ml+ free i forgot how big maybe 200ml for $8.75.. i've nv used mouthwash b4 haha.. wah! it's HOT! as in the minty feeling.. everytime i used it i felt like my tongue isn't there.

u noe wad? the dental clinic near my place is FULLY-BOOKED! all the way from today until next week! the next avail date is 2nd Aug -.- wassup wif pple these days.. i've alwiz prided myself on good dental health (after i got my perms), haha there was a period of yrs of not visitin the dentist and yet he told me my teeth are in perfect condition! hope this is a case of heaty me~

heard on the news days ago the Japanese's newest jacuzzi idea: soaking in ramen soup! haha accordin to the Jap, the soup contains duno wad nutrients & that it's good for us! damn funny, they even add ingredients to the soup.. like bean sprouts etc. looks funny to be soaking in brown liquid >.<

went to search for perfume on sun for my dad's bday present cos honey watched a TV programme featuring cheaper perfume shops. went to Chinatown to walk walk & found it! St.Thomas at Lucky Chinatown! that will be my fave place to get perfumes & facial products from now on! haha..

oh yeah esp after kat asked if i wanted to donate blood now dat the blood bank is low due to dengue. i so wanna help & my blood is so useful (O+) but i cant get past the needle!

went to windsurf today wif weihao & kat! i thot i could take bus 401 from Bedok interchange but the first bus is at 2pm! freak. wanted to take cab but failed to find 1. finally weihao came to pick me up. luckily.

pasta fresca closed down! wad luck today! we walked 1km to PA Sea Sports Club. guess wad. they doubled the rental rate! used to be $8 for 2 hrs. now it's $16. damn. AND only members can rent the equipment now. !@#$%. signed up for the membership since it's qt cheap $40 for 3 yrs.

finally i did a 180deg turn to successfully return to the shore after travellin out some distance. Kat was reallie great! talent there girl! first time and she could surf a short distance!

oh i got injured by weihao who dropped the sail & i got hit by it haha i should haf moved further away. now his punishment is to accompany me more often to surf! yays.

oki time to summarise my past 2 weeks. the Settlers at Holland V was alrite. i still cannot find my way there if i'm goin alone. a few games were fun haha. i love winning muahaha. there were 8 of us and surprisingly it turned out fun. & i thot 8 is too many for board games (usu 4 would be a good number)

sentosa on sunday with Athena rocked. met up wif Yuansheng, Mingjie, Aiping & Zhenxian. headed to Vivo to take the new train to Sentosa. The tix cost the same as the good ole bus-$3, a EZ-Link card in a piece of paper! haha Sua-Ku me found it damn cool.

bingo (Byon) arrived shortly after. we began to play touch rugby. man, it was tiring.. not to mention running ard on burning charcoal. got sick of touch so we changed to soccer. Wooh! dat was fun! i love beach soccer! managed to get a few shots on target but tink onli scored 1. oh yeah injured my toe and got some abrasions i tink.

while restin this group of guys walked past & someone turned to look at me. EH! kok fei! wahaha so coincidental! apparently they were there for they CPE group chalet cos he told me Andrew was joinin them later. they asked if we needed more men for the soccer. so we did a frenly. wah they're qt pro!

met Xiaoling on Wed at TPY to lunch & shop a bit. walked the whole place in juz 3 hours. not so good for shopping cos alot HP shops. den the fashion there a bit outdated haha. we both bought somethin tho! from a Korean shop.. DressCodeX i tink. i bought a top which can fit into my wardrobe juz fine as workin attire and norm wear! haven taken pix yet tho.

Thurs was spent at Cine Leisure wif Sharon & PL! so happie to see them after so long! caught Spiderman3, it was ok only. after dat went to Wisma Sasa to get my perfume for Mum. hehe i bought 1 at a cheap rate cos the first bottle >$50. went home pleased.

oh yeah. gonna go sharon's house to see her niece! so fun haha. den tues is mahjong day at PL's house! oh yeah got sore throat + flu these few days. Bleh. Les Misérables.

yday i bought my face steamer finally! from Watsons! it was reallie hot. and after dat attempted to squeeze out the black/white heads! haha i squeezed until it's blue-black! man. this thingy is doin me no good! haha. but now it feels qt smooth! qt pleased wif it except i gotta be more gentle wif my poor nose!

i concluded today dat i dowanna be a Programmer. well, at least not hard-core. wun mind those like meet the customer to find out the specs, plan and design. Systems Analyst. but. where to find this? sigh. dun even noe wad i CAN be. maybe i can go try teaching haha.

these few days were spent slackin at home. sat went to make my new pair of specs cos no idea where my previous pair went to. went to AMK and saw a very good deal!! haha. was surprised. total amount $28 for simple frame+white lens. i thot since i seldom wear glasses, a cheapo pair will do. not to mention dat lens go cheaper without astigmatism! hurrays!

been spamming many companies with job applications. haha so far onli went for 1 interview, 1 more pending.. programmer. tink maybe i shall hafta go into this path T_T but luckily is Java, not the disgusting C++!

oh yeah saw a temp job which is like admin assistant & applied. it's a 3 months job & i applied mainly cos i'm interested in HR and thot perhaps it could aid me a little in my resume should i wish to go into HR. but of cos, a permanent job holds higher priority haha. (even programming!).. i need $$$~

went to watch Phantom Of The Opera yday, 25th Apr at 2000Hours. was almost late but managed to get in. But I decided to go to the washroom cos i thot is like within the concert hall. & i got prevented from entering. was rather pissed dat i missed the beginning: the raising of the chandelier.

the band was great! muz haf been tiring for the conductress. the singers were so OMG-good! the singing was clear & i could make out the words unlike those in the movie. i tink the movie totally sucked. oh I also thot it's amazing how they transformed the plain old stage into a RIVER! haha with candles that came out of the stage. little bit of fireworks as well.

i dunno man. All in all, it's totally GREAT! worth the MONEY!!! well, considerin i din pay for it =X u bet it is worth haha.

yday finally cleared 2 presentations & 1 major deadline. went for my FYP CA4 presentation in the mornin, reached sch at 8.40am and went to collect the room key. was so nervous as i was settin up the equipment.. was qt sian after dat cos i had nothin much to show, the whole thing finished in abt 20mins or so. but juz as well since the examiner wasn't even polite enuff to listen to me. i heard from other students dat he's like that.

that's 1 presentation down, today cleared a test as well. so there's CA3 and my networks presentation on fri as well as a test earlie in the mornin T_T

anyways somethin funny (?) happened yday. was printin a report when i realised the printer i selected had a paper jam. the technician wasn't ard so i dismantled the machine myself. had removed the paper once then it jammed again. so pissed.. in the end my groupmates reprinted the report again. and i dirtied my sleeve in the process (i wore long sleeve shirt for the presentation)

"Don't Answer" called me again on tues morning. i swear nv to go for the survey.

i sorta juz woke up from a short nap. so this is gonna sound real messy & random.

went to The Rice Table on Sunday wif Honey. was supposed to be pia-ing thesis.. but (sobs) long time nv go out.. & he's alwiz busy wif work! so since he's free.. and I need some rest (hehe) we headed out to relax a lil.

this wasn't the first time we had wanted to try this restaurant.. the last time we wanted, we had gone to suntec. to find that it was under renovation or somethin.. so we had lunch at the Siam Kitchen..

Siam Kitchen food sux! well.. for me at least.. it tasted odd.. lotsa lemongrass taste &.. well i dunno but it juz doesn seem right. fortunately this time the rice table din disappoint me!

we went to the one near cuppage.. Honey said he felt sian walkin the 'work route' haha. cos everyday he travels that route to work (to somerset). it was a hot day. i felt fat.

i finally noe how they heat up the food! they put 3 tea-light candles under the metal plate thingy. den the dishes are rather small. most onli contained like 2 portions, 1 for each of us. it looked qt a spread tho.

i enjoyed the otah, lady's finger (which both i had), the KANG kong! (i ordered a total of 4 times HAH), the fried fish was not bad too. satay tasted nice WITHOUT fats (that's a plus). hmm the rest were OK. oh the KEROPOK is NICE! man i love indonesian keropoks *YES*

ok. i'm done crapping here. time to start crappin in the thesis. i'm havin trouble there. T_T

DAMN! so tired today!! yeah i say that EVERYDAY. is different.. today worked harder than usual.. was in school until 11pm.. workin on YAP2PClient (Yet Another P2P Client software).. the GUI was fun but cant say the same for the other parts..

as usual, i can NV understand sockets and stuff.. took me some time to sorta get it. was sianz-ed when we found a better method to send messages to the server but the guys (on exchange program) refused to change it sayin that their current program would be useless then. we understood that but now i tink abt it, i don't tink it's THAT difficult to change! *raise 1 eyebrow*

got a call from Charles & Keith. bad news. ALL the branches haf no more stock and i dun tink they're gonna import 1 pair for me haha~

i haf no idea that boots are so popular now! went to a few branches of Charles & Keith oreadie but failed to get the pair of boots i wanted!! brown long boots with short heels. Initially went Compass Point but they ran out of Size 6, which was more comfy for me.. den got them to check Causeway Point, Junction 8 etc near my area but all were out of stock!

Went to suntect on Sunday but also no hope. tink i can gif up all hopes on this pair of boots. sob when can i get a pair i reallie like? also went for a face scan, FINALLY! went to Shiseido booth but was told they din haf it at Raffles City. So i checked out SKII, hopin to like get free samples XD..

the scan was scary, i alwiz fear lookin at microscopic views of stuff.. all the lines and holes as the lady placed the scanner on my face.. apparently the more triangle "holes" the better the skin quality.. and clogged pores appear as tiny dots!

juz the thot makes mi squeamish! tested some products on my hand & din notice any visible diff haha but merina said it looks fairer. hmmm i wanna buy JAP RICE!! cheaper Piteras~

omg so tired.. finally 1 week is over!! CNY ends this sunday~ but the mood is long over.. so sad.. i wonder if i can experience a full 15-day CNY.. feels like alot work to be done for the rest of this sem!

4 mid term tests, 1 essay, 1 midi-composition, 1 imaging proj, 1 networking proj, 3 programming labs, FYP + thesis.. datz a handful!

in preparation for the comin CNY, bro & me cleaned the livin room windows today.. it was rather difficult to clean every spot thanks to the grill rejecting our big hands.. that was some dusty business.. after the task the water was totally black.. u can imagine how often we clean our windows *hiak*

after dat i decided to clean the floor cos i accidentally spilled the Body Shop mask on the floor! yummy Blackcurrant Reviving Mask for my room.. u can be sure the floor is damn smooth (oily) so it sure works well.. after moppin the whole house i'm perspiring like a tap! so here i'm restin b4 i go take a bath..

oki.. also wanted to touch on somethin i saw on Straits Times 13th Feb 2007 Forum.. it relates to wad i had mentioned earlier on here..there was this post abt how Singapore is bein piled wif more foreigners. we see them in our schools, this post in particular reminds us that more than half of the top 'O' Level students are foreigners.. thus it makes it more difficult for us Singaporeans to compete wif them.

Not dat we don't haf the ability to win them, it is just dat wif them dissolvin into our community, there may be a high chance that our future leaders will be the foreign talents? i mean, how does that sound to u? Personally, i don't qt like that. Yday i saw a foreigner in our SAF Number 4. i feel odd, like how come pple from other country is protecting OUR country?

my bro said that in the future there's a possibility that there would juz be ONE government for this world due to colonisation of other planets.. i wonder abt that... ...

sob.. today was a suay day for me! everythin juz din go my way...

began the day w/o my home keys.. juz could not find it anywhere so i left w/o them. later on i almost forgot my lecture notes.. but that was a close shave-remembered it juz in time.

later on went skool and after lecture i happily went back Engin for proj meetin.. onli to realise that i had forgotten my water bottle! after meetin went back to retrieve it.. fortunately i found it.. i also forgot to bring my wallet out! so i had no cash to buy the chips which were on offer LOL

at clementi MRT station, i missed the train to Boon Lay and had to wait 8mins for the next 1 so i decided to go to washroom.. after using the toilet, i bent over the basin to wash my hand and to my horror.. my fone dropped and *POOF* it's gone!

wow aint that amazing magic.. could not find it on the floor, spotted a gully trap thingie which was opened so i thot.. freak dun tell me it dropped inside. tried to go under the basin to look into the dark cylinder while tryin not to look so miserable..

looked into the cubicle floor and could not find it still. after botherin many pple to call my fone number (no response) and gettin the cleaner to dig in the hole for my fone, i finally gave up.. and i concluded there were onli 2 outcomes.

1. my fone dropped into the hole and either spoilt or too deep in and no network coverage.. doomed to go into our newater reservoir

2. some idiot in 1 of the cubicles picked my fone up and turned it off (but that way she won't be able to use it cos i turned on the fone security which means other SIM card cant use the fone)

and finally: JUST MY LUCK!

yday went to Sim Lim Square walk walk.. was amazed at the amount of pple! transferrin to the Pasir Ris train, I actually had to wait a full 6mins for the next train due to absolutely no space to squeeze even an ant in..

so i was tinkin wadz happenin to tiny Singapore? is it due to foreign talents to aid us in the development of our city-state? hmmm accordin to 2006 Statistics, i found that a freakin 875k of our total population are foreigners! that's like a freaking 19.5%!! and note that that includes the PR.

so i thot, omg what's happenin to us! 4.48m pple on tiny Singapore! we're so gonna sink! i'm startin to get wurried by the word over-populuation.. who can donate some land to us pls!

today mum bought some dried corn kernels.. she said it's for makin popcorn.. so we tried to pop them in the microwave oven..

1. all white corn! not sweet at all! pui!
2. i tried to add honey to the corn.. din turn out good at all! why?

cos the honey contains ALOT sugar i suppose.. sugar is what? CARBON... look wad happened

today went wif my bro to get his new fone.. after ORD-ing! haha initially he wanted the K800i cybershot fone.. but we decided since he onlie wanna get it for music purposes the walkman fone is a betta choice.. so he got W810i!

it cost $268 at starhub shop under my plan upgrade.. so it's still rather ex.. but the earfones is cool! is those soft kind.. dunno wad issit called also.. the Apple iPod kind.. so dat explains the extra 70bucks between my fone and his haha.. maybe i shud psycho my dad into gettin dat fone too den i can kope his earfones! cos my ears alwiz hurt when i use the hard kinda earfones.. tho the Sony Ericsson 1 still not bad so far.. hehe

on my way back i saw an interestin site.. 2 cats mating.. or courtship? cos apparently 1 of the cats was a reluctant party.. 'it' kept "screaming" when the other cat tried to rape it haha.. so rape cases exist everywhere.. & i thot most animals juz mate for the sake of reproducing.. so there's preference too! heh juz found it interestin..

Hello! lemme share wif every1 my game Fruit Fight! finished presentation on tues.. was shocked by the pro-ness of the group b4 us.. it made our game seem so amateur.. like full of bugs haha..

durin the demonstration the "examiners" did not seem interested! most likely wun be after lookin at a professional-looking game! not sure if they wud ask questions abt the game if they are.. so i juz tried to explain the game as they plaed.

our game! can see some little bugs when we're suay.. Honey says is due to network problems..

wanted to write a long story abt my Supervisor for FYP but decided not to, not sure wad i can write in blogs. haha. anyways CA2 comin up so i emailed my sup to ask him wad kinda format should we prepare for our presentation.

he replied mi lightheartedly dat he is not involved with CA2. but later he did say dat PPT would be fine.well.. guess his schedule was too busy so he din realise that supervisors ARE involved in CA2 together wif the examiners. so i emailed him back to remind him abt it. haha..

anyways realised somethin abt myself while doin group projects + reports. i'm sucha perfectionist when it comes to formatting the reports etc! not reallie good i suppose but i juz like the alignment to be oh so neat.. even for the Flash program i like things the way i do it.. all neat n stuff.. maybe i shud learn to be more relak abt such little things huh, u're tinkin..

for the time being i dun tink so haha.. i alwiz like to be the final person to look thru and compile the report.. to make sure everythin is in order and up to my expectations. spent the past few hours readin thru my RTE report & editin it.. it's drivin mi mad.. yet 1 of my groupmates hasn't finished his individual contributions part & he's outside! freak..

anyways on tues i'll be presenting my project! not the first game i made but it's the first 1 i tink is qt cool! i mean look! it's a multiplayer REAL TIME game! not dat i noe how to do the real time part lol.. i've got GOOD FRENS datz y..

i fell sick today!

woke up feelin so tired & odd.. dunno how to describe also.. instinctively i stuck a thermometer into my mouth.. 37.7deg C. great.. still gotta carry a heavy lappy to skool to work on a proj.

while queueing up for 96 i felt so sick.. a bit nauseous. so i went to rest on the seats.. luckily i felt betta after a while. it was bad tho.. felt reallie cold in skool. how i longed for my nice bed at home! to crawl under the blankets.

i alwiz tink dat when i'm sick i wud so like someone to take care of mi like in the shows haha! someone to tuck mi in bed. to cook some porridge for mi while i sleep. take medicine den sleep again. i rem when i was young mum wud cook some v nice fish porridge. haven had dat in a long time.

on the way home i still had to squeeze wif the peak hour crowd. fortunately i got a seat on the train but a bit diff to explain the 'technical' details lol. bus was horrible, no idea y they choose to use a short bus during the peak hours and bendy bus when there's hardly anybody to board the bus.

dinner was juz soup, fishballs, straw mushroom & veg. slept 1 hour. spoke to honey a while. ate cereal. work.

went for my cousin Wenwei's weddin today at Grand Copthorne Hotel.. had the feelin again. the touchy feelin durin solemnization cos it's like so serious yet so sweet. at the same time i was tinkin how tough it is to organise a weddin dinner.

the program gotta run smoothly, the emcees gotta be fluent and confident, the jie meis gotta be enthu yet refined & the bride gotta look damn PRETTY! haha shan't crap abt the details but the food there is alrite.. not fantastic. no time to take pix of the food but took some of pretty me! =x

apparently sy found another girl he likes again! so glad for him hehe.. so romantic.. keywords include beach.. tealights.. lilies & roses.. star gazing & many more which i shan't list out..

from his posts i realise despite being in boring Singapore, there's still ALOT of things we can do to enjoy being wif loved ones & to create fun from the simple small things!

today i submitted the most expensive report in my whole NUS life.

our HR project was created wif creativity.. our presentation (first group) gave many activities in between the boring PPT slides.. wif 2x videos, 2x games & 1 scenario discussion. teacher was happie wif it.

other groups den copied our idea & teacher said 1 group raised the bar! freak.. so we decided to design our report wif creativity! came up wif the idea of a guidebook to aid HR pple wif diversity management. wasn't sure if it was too informal so asked teacher. she said was good.

daniel den decided to put a background consisting of a few coloured streaks. den cui xia's catridge ran outa ink! so we had to print in skool. 1 page cost 60c. we had like 25 pages. so dat amounted to $15 -.- and we din even use dat in the end due to some technical faults ( =b )

so we printed another copy.. b&w of cos.. so the cost for 2nd set (2x colour, 20xb&w) was 2*60c + 20*5c=$3.40

today's leadership lesson was INSPIRATIONAL! we watched this video ALIVE in class.. the story (May I say dat this is based on a true story dat happened in 1972) was abt how this group of rugby players flew to Chile & crashed.. in a mountainous place.. cold & injured.. left wif no choice but to CONSUME HUMAN FLESH
.

so they crashed in the Andes mountain.. the tail fell off first.. leavin the head part to crash into the mountain as it skidded along the snow. the sight was horrible: somethin flew in & slit 1 guy's calf! all the seats crashed into those in frunt due to inertia.. crushing pple.. some's legs got caught.. it was this part dat i first covered my eyes. but luckily most of the pple in the head part survived.

after this pple started movin out of the plane.. the initial leader of the show Antonio, a medicine student, started instructing every1 to help each other.. to pull out stuff dat pierced pple, pull away seats dat crushed pple's legs etc. later on he also rationed the food & drinks.. but his leadership ended when they thot a rescue party had arrived to save them.. & to discover dat they weren't afterall, & the others had stolen the food & drinks.. they were left wif nothin..

2 other pple took over the roles of leader. i'm not sure how to spell their name so let's juz name them A & B. when every1 thot dat they wud die due to lack of food, A suggested dat they eat the flesh of their dead frens. initially every1 was disgusted.. who wud not man.. i cant imagine *sick*

later on they were convinced of cos.. A cut 1 piece of flesh & ate it.. B went to cut pieces of meat for the rest. slowly they recovered some of their strength & will.. & set off slowly to find the tail of the plane to get batt to fix the craft's radio to get help.. when all was goin well an avalanche came & killed a few more. Antonio also died.. (i was rather sad)

finally.. they picked 3 of their strongest pple to go in search of Chile.. including A & B.. they were of cos v tired & at 1 point B wanted to gif up.. den A provided a strong vision & together.. the 2 of them reached Chile! it ended happily but i found the scene so touchin dat i teared.. my teacher said dat some of the survivors are still alive now.

i tink this show is reallie nice.. v motivational. earlier today i was tinkin i'm so tired of all my deadlines.. made mi wanna juz gif up. but upon comparison, deadlines are reallie nothin. these pple reallie went thru so much. the will to survive is so powerful! cheers to mankind!

felt like drinkin the vodka i haf at home.. so i asked my bro to buy a bottle of 7-up when he's reachin home at the 7-11 near my house.. he told mi dat the 7-11 was closed.

i was rather surprised cos i thot 7-11's are like forever open! apparently they dun haf sufficient non-Indians employees to open the shop.. rather interestin.. everytime during PH i will tink of the pple who are still bz workin..

examples include the Radio DJs, buz drivers, taxi drivers, train drivers, shopkeepers etc.. would alwiz tink like how they mite be feelin.. workin on a NEW YEAR DAY.. muz be rather sian.. *respect*

today alvin asked if i wanted to go eski bar wif him & maybe some other pple to get a drink.. i was interested to go take a look cos the idea juz seems so nice to mi.. esp when i'm hearin winter stories from honey yet dun haf the chance to experience another winter overseas.. cos my Shanghai trip fell through due to the tix bein too ex.. cant afford to go to Texas to find honey..

bin so bz nowadays.. wad wif projects for almost every mod.. gotta read a 500+ page biography on Nelson Mandela.. read a book on Flash actionscript.. many actionscript codes here n there.. after my HR presentation still haf a 3000-word report to work on.. recently there's the DSP lab using MATLAB which can kill mi.. i've also got my FYP to do.. constantly.. & also a mid term comin up soon in nov!

gah.. i reallie hate programmin or engin stuff in general.. cant seem to do any of the stuff here.. on the other hand, i find i reallie enjoy biz mods.. they're full of fun & relaxation.. haha no time for regrets now tho! rem the time when my parents & sis told mi not to choose this course haha.. i dun haf the talent for it! ah heck.. last yr anyways after dat i can find any job oreadie..

i'm also wurryin abt the mods i've planned to take next sem.. whether i can win the bids.. whether i can find a nice group to work on proj tog..

on the + side.. this yr will pass v quickly! i'm currently adopting the E(arliest)D(deadline)F(irst) real-time scheduling method haha.. yeah this real time embedded systems mod is rather interestin.. i shall get thru this sem juz fine.. like how i dreamt abt it few weeks ago..

went to catch 'Stay Alive' wif honey.. was interested in this movie cos it's about a game.. despite seldom watchin horror flicks cos i alwiz get damn scared.. yeah it did scare mi.. even the bag of chips i took in failed to distract mi! i got rather scared by it.. haha maybe dat will deterr mi from playin too many demonic games like Diablo *brrr* esp new games which came from nowhere..

i tink it's qt a nice show to catch for gamers heh.. but not v scary if u wan some thrill..

bin slackin a lot in blogger world.. finally i haf somethin special to report haha.. had my HR presentation yday.. evening.. from 6pm-9pm.. yes.. 3 hours presentation (and it wasn't enuff!)

our group was doin on diversity (management).. our prog included 2 videos, 2 games: 1 indian poker & 1 broken telephone line/charades.. we also bought mooncakes for the class.. durin break i spoke to our teacher and she told mi our presentation was very good! haha.. sounds nice.. and we thot we were good too.. =D

today went for yoga trial wif xiaoling at True Yoga.. was interestin.. perspired like mad lor.. din expect dat.. tired from all the stretchin but was qt an experience for mi! if was cheaper or free i'd join hahaha.. cheapo mi

after dat went to check out mooncakes at Taka Square.. omg nice nice stuff they got there.. many hotels including Goodwood Park Hotel, Ritz Carlton and Haagen Daaz!! but of cos they're like so ex.. but i shared the yummy D-24 durian snowskin mooncake wif xiaoling.. from 4seasons!! oooh.. cant wait to try them.. let's enjoy this yr's MAF after havin 2x 7th month!

got somethin to recommend today.. a prog to note down ur daily expenditure.. type of expenditure can be customised and the user can view the total amount of $ spent on a particular type of expenditure each month eg. how much i spent on food this month! (so far is a lot!) at the end of a month the user can calculate the total amount spent! juz clicks away!

went for my first day of skool todae.. was rather tired.. but managed to crawl outa bed.. train was crowded.. din get a seat until like at Marsiling.. went in late for DSP and found LT5 PACKED.. surprised.. but juz found a lousy seat first.. got blur from the 2nd min onwards.. joined merina after break got felt kinda sleepy.. zzz.. kept dozing off..

finally lesson ended.. slacked a while b4 i headed to Biz for my Leadership In Organisation sectional teachin.. felt oddly alone as i sat there.. nobody i knew in dat class.. heck.. juz smile at everybody/anybody haha.. maybe my smile wasn't sweet enuff.. nobody intro-ed themselves HAHA.. luckily 1 noisy guy beside mi kept rantin.. rather frenly..

lesson was interestin.. i thot i mite learn qt a bit from this mod.. but as everybody volunteered their opinions, i felt so ignorant & stupid.. haha guess i betta go read up more on the leaders Dr. Koh will be discussin.. on the whole a rather nice mod i guess.. qt a happie first day of skool for mi!!!

been enjoyin my last 2 weeks of the hol for the past few days.. pretty much nothin to do in sg so i went to pig out wif Honey.. on friday we went to use my Haagen Daz $10 voucher haha.. was ex for ice cream.. buying the pint from NTUC was much more worth lol.. see wad we had!

this week was a lil more tough cos of CORS bidding, u can be sure i checked my schedule b4 planning on goin out! ydae we went to pig out at Swiss Culture.. had a cheese fondue & chocolate fondue! was so stuffed.. the cheese contained some white wine i tink.. both of us felt was too much for us.. choc was nice tho.. exactly like baking choc lol.. check out the pix!

here's the soup, chinese mushroom soup (according to mi & chris cos it tastes like chinese mushroom) wif loads of garlic (i added lotsa pepper to mine)

sally's lemonade, it's sour & nice! but has a familiar other taste.. hehe

this is the dory fish & chips, this is half the actual size, the dory is HUGE (i finished last)

first game we plaed, jungle speed.. cheem game.. wl is good!

aim: get rid of ur hand (cards of cos!)

how to plae: each player takes turns to place down 1 card at a time, if there are 2 cards wif the same shape, those 2 pple gotta grab a wooden stick, loser takes back the cards

additional: there are cards (like wild cards) which
-changes the mode to colour (ie. if 2 cards haf the same colour, they gotta grab the wooden stick)
-makes every1 grab the wooden stick
-requires every player places down 1 card and those who obtain same shape grab the wooden stick.. this was tiring and qt fun haha..

3rd game: swap (i din manage to get the 2nd game pix but shall tok abt is later!)

aim: get rid of ur hand

how to plae: like UNO, continue the colour cards wif each player placing 1 card each turn..

additional: special cards like
-SLAP! - all players other den the 1 who placed this card places 1 hand on the pile, last 1 to do so draws a card from the SLAPPER's deck.. sorta like heart attack duncha tinks..
-SWAP! - SWAPPER chooses a colour and some1 to exchange deck wif
-SUPER SWAP! - changes every1's decks by choosing a direction to rotate deck (this was fun cos if u rem where ur deck went & wad colours u haf can sabo or win!)

finally, lets tok abt the 2nd game, was some growing bean merchant thingie

aim: collect the most # of gold coins

how to plae: each player starts wif 2 plantations, he can plant 2 types of beans but sometimes draws cards which contain other beans, if he does not wan to plant those, he has to either trade them away or donate to pple.. when he has planted enuff bean cards, he can exchange the plants for gold coins

additional: player can purchase a 3rd bean field for 3 gold coins.. this game is too cheem to put into words, if u wan find out next time go to pitstop! haha

2 days ago heard on the radio abt this skeleton found near upp thomson road.. thot it was qt scary.. so i followed up on the news.. heh.. so it belonged to this 60+ year old lady.. the elder sis went missing.. scary, dunno issit she killed her.. =x

yday while goin home after buyin my dinner, i saw this notice:$500.00 reward for findin a dog.. i was like, wah.. the dog is like worth 500bucks.. o_O but i din see any dogs nearby lol no 500 bucks for mi..

recently gettin more & more tired.. i muz be gettin old.. today went for a swim at yishun swimming complex & came back v tired.. juz woke up & am preparin to leave home to mit the CPE girls for dinner at pitsop.. thot i shud prolly update a bits.. i realise my face is like damn red.. den i thot when i was younger i nv got sunburn *sighs* haha..

lol was feelin tired so i picked up the newpaper my bro bot.. earlier on he was tellin mi abt Maple Story forum havin an argument abt Poly students being stupid.. i juz okay-ed him..

haven read half of the article, i find dat it's qt funny.. somethin dat began from ks-ing ended up personal insults.. havin been pissed b4 by ks-ers, i realise dat in a moment of fit, it's qt natural to attack pple.. to say they're stupid or childish..

accordin to NewPaper, this guy redpony mentioned dat poly students, on break now, are increasin the ks-ing goin on now.. and dat they haf so much time.. this i muz agree.. i alwiz see my in-game poly frens playin.. like when i'm logged in i see them? haha..

yet, goin poly doesn mean one's stupid.. or gettin 6 A1's in O level doesn mean u're smart either.. but someone from ITE mentioned dat jc, poly & ite all lead to the same place.. errr this i muz refute.. they so DO NOT lead to the same thing.. poly doesn sound too bad but i wud not wan to go ITE..

finally it's over.. the horrible module which took up all my time.. this mornin was a nervous 1.. the figure 8 was not maneuvered v well.. got stuck a couple of times.. prolly due to stress.. cos our Sup told us to clear the circuit AFAP (as fast as possible).. we all ignored him & asked A to go slowly..

in the water also not v good.. den we tried to climb up the ramp.. dat was horrible.. kept goin off track.. & pish.. it fell sideway into the water.. RH jumped in the pool wif 1 leg.. A threw my remote control into the pool.. and managed to catch the cover b4 much dmg was inflicted.. like phew? lucky my control is waterproof lol.. tried a few more times b4 the Sup chased us away.. after dat we were determined to try again so we headed up the slope.. (after snipping away part of the blue foam dat was blockin the way) heh..

went out wif honey to eat ALOT at alexandra food market.. i tink.. ordered the usual frog leg, bak kut teh.. added 2 new things.. disgusting white carrot cake and not-so-nice watercress soup..

den we went woodlands to watch Ice Age 2.. it was qt nice.. haha funny and damn cok.. honey gaf mi a nice nice card & a prezzie.. haha shall not say wad issit.. enjoyed readin the card tho.. =D

after dat we bought some puffs from Crystal Jade Cakery.. DAMN cok dat place.. seems qt high class but.. they only accept cash.. no NETS no CASHCARD no MASTER no VISA tho the last 2 were stated at the counter.. wad a lousy place rite.. i damn pissed..

den went to the Crystal Jade Kitchen to get my nicer watercress soup.. sat down & placed orders.. den the lady informed us that the watercress soup was sold out.. sadness.. so we cancelled all orders since the watercress was my main target.. no point eatin other expensive stuff heh.. wad an interestin day! to walk out a restaurant after cancelling all orders..

todae i took part in the most exciting drama of the year.. as a voice actress.. abt 2100 my group went to test our amphibious vehicle in the pool.. at approx 2102 our vehicle took the plunge into the inviting waters below.. the driver was goin mad.. suddenlie forgot all commands to negotiate a figure of 8.. paused at the edge of the cliff.. & dived into the waters..

everyone was appalled. we all cud not react.. so amidst our yellings and shriekings the poor lamb fell reluctantly, all the brains & intestines discarded by the suicidal lamb.. & i wundered was it cos earlier in the day i mentioned dat it's bin some time since i swam.. or dipped in the pool..

dismantled everythin & applied the fan to them.. padding toilet paper everywhere we cud.. rollin up the paper to stick into holes here & there.. tested part by part for functionality & connectivity as well as to detect shorts.. after much operations involvin the forceps (pliers) & bandage (black tape) etc we finally decided to test out the chips wif PCB den wif motors.. luckily it worked fine.. else i prolly wud not haf forgiven boAt driver for my favourite bday present..

phews.. juz bathed after returnin home from boating.. was feelin damn frustrated after burnin our microchip or somethin along dat line.. was hungry and tired.. at least if the microchip is spoilt it's rather easy to fix.. except dat we still got tons to do.. includin the packaging for our lil lamb lol..

k after a nice bath i do feel a wee bit betta.. esp i juz checkd mail and found dat i got the VIP thingie.. kinda glad.. but wurried dat i may not be able to do wad i'm supposed to noe hehe..
